Thailand
The main religion of thailand is Buddhism with 94.7% of the population with strong buddhist beliefs. Muslims are another religion in thailand covering 4.6% of the population. Christians only represent 0.5% of thailand. Buddhsits follow the teachings of Buddha, A man who reached enlightenment in India more than 2500 years ago. Buddhism is based on the four noble truths. Over hundreds of years Buddhism spread throughout South East Asia including Thailand.
