Fashion in the 1920's!!!!
Fashion made a dramatic change in the 1920's. Women used to be very shy and conservative, but as women's rights progressed, dress changed as well. Where women used to cover everything up, now they suddenly let ankles, wrists, and necks show!
Hair was another big change. It used to be very popular to wear your hair long and twisted up. Did you know that hair lenght used to be a sign of social status? The longer it was, the more important you were! When the 20's came around. Women began cutting their hair short to show their independance. They also wore alot of costume jewlry and bright red lipstick. Smoking became extreamly fashionable and seemed like it would never get old, but then, like twinkies, they turned out to be really bad for you and now people hate them while secretly loving them!
