Socrative Workshop
Workshop Objectives
2. experience Socrative as a teacher and a student.
3. create, present and evaluate socrative activities
4. learn how to access socrative reports
5. discuss possible technical mishaps and possible back up plans.
During the workshop participants will:
1. learn about Socrative and how it works.
Intro to Socrative
Essentials:
Teacher* Computer connected to Internet* Overhead projector
Student:* Any device- smartphone, laptop, ipad, ipod with wifi access
Students to login to my socrative room at the beginning of every lesson . I can use socrative at any point in time I want to double check they are getting it! A QR code makes it super fast!
Take away tips!!!
Students work in groups and then answer preplanned questions in a socrative space race. Always engaging and relevant.
Brainstorming on socrative is great as everyone's ideas appear instantly.
