General Biography: He was borin in 406, but nobody truely knows where the Huns (around Eurasia) originated from.. He became the ruler of Huns in 433 with his brother, but in the year 445 he murdered his brother to take control. He was being payed by the Eastern Byzantine Emporer to not invade them, but in the year 441 and 447 he attacks Greece and Constantinople. Attila then moved to West Roman Empire and demanded to marry the sister of Western Emporer, but refuses which leads to war, which Attila loses. He then goes to Italy, and he demands Pope Leo I to pay him to not invade. He died in the year 453, and forever earned a reputation of one of the world's most cruel rulers.
Significance: The Huns was a horde which controlled almost all of Eurasia at one point. He was one of the factors that caused the fall of Rome. The Hun invasion of India led up to a cultural transformation. They also stopped trade with India and the Roman Empire, which caused it to fall.
