Maximilien Robespierre 1758 - 1794

Significance: He was one of the key leaders of the French revolution, and unleashed the Reign of Terror, which resulted in the death of over 17,000 people.. He was also the most prominent father of the revolution. He was one of the main causes for the execution of KIng Lous XVI, who was a bad leader due to his shy nature. He charged him of tyrany, although he later was later accused himself of being a tyrant.
The Reign of Terror
Biography: He had 3 siblings, and a father who was lost after her mother's death. Robespierre went to a College in Arras, where he moved to Paris and then to the College of Law. He was gaining more interests in law and justice, so he went and became an advocate in 1781. He was later elected Third estate. He wanted equality to all men, but was denied. He was later charged with tyranny and dictatorship. He was guillotined and he was executed without trial 1794.
