History of Lee Friedlander Lee Friedlander was born in 1934 in Aberdeen Washington. Friedlander had many different styles of photograhy including self portraits, action, and nature. He was a key figure in the 1967 new documents exhibitation. He shot with a 35 mm for a long time until he switched to a superwide camera.
