Chemical Change
A chemical change is a transformation of one set of chemical substances to another.
Synthesis, decomposition, single displacement, double displacement, neutralization, precipitation, combustion, and wood burning. A good Example is the combustion of methane to produce carbon dioxide and water.
Sythiesis- The combining of two or more things to form something new Decomposition-The process in which tissues of a dead organism break down into simpler forms of matter
Combustion- Burning is the sequence of exothermic chemical reactions between a fuel and an oxidant accompanied by the production of heat and conversion of chemical species.
Single Replacment-A chemical reaction in which an element replaces one element in a compound Double Replacment-A chemical reaction in which an element replaces two element's in a compound.
Exothermic-describes a process or reaction that releases energy usually in the form of heat Endothermic -describes a process or reaction that abosorbes energy usually in the form of heat
