My Knight . . .
“A rose may be as sweet as any other name, but a fair maiden as yourself, a rose shall never surpass. No thorn can be more fine as your hair. No petal, more tender, delicate as your lips. No scent as fragrant as yours. My maiden, you are a rose in perfection. I will hold you strong and fill you with life so you may never wilt.”
“Ah, but a maiden such as myself does not deserve a knight as magnificent as yourself. You are the very stars that line the night sky. The very breeze that ripple along my skin and through my hair. What do I have to offer you? Nothing… nothing… my knight. For I am nothing. I shall never be something more then what I am. But if I had you by my side I would feel as if I were the moon and the millions of stars were surrounded me, holding me just as if they were your very arms. Ah, my knight, how I love you… but how we can not be together strikes my heart. I only wish to be worthy enough for you to snatch away and never bring me back to this place with eyes that only hurt us. With hearts that only tell us no. And with voices that speak of only things that stain our cheeks with tears. I love you… I love you my dear, sweet knight.”
