River Dance (Requires Scrolling down *Hover mouse cursor over text*)She always listened for that beat.An odd exotic beat.It was familiar, cultured, and seductive.She went to the same club, every night, to find the source of it.Tonight, the beat was distinctively louder.Everyone was grouped up in pairs doing the Charleston.She wandered aimlessly looking for the sound and across the room she saw a lone dancer.He wasn’t doing the Charleston.It was the type of dance she would see girls do back in Ireland.He was river dancing.She was amazed by his feet as they glided across the wooden tile floor.With every step, a note.With every movement, a scale.While looking at his feet, she noticed his shoes.He was wearing oddly shaped, decorated, black loafers.She was looking for his spats, but you could barely see it under his pants.She was entranced by his beat.She wanted to dance with him.She wanted him.The man stopped dancing, the beat stopped.Eagerly, she walked up to the man and said, "Ba mhaith le damhsa?"The man replied in a gruff, mature voice saying,“Do you know the River dance?”She replied with a nod.And they danced the night away.River Dance Loafers (No. 3859) are made to put an edge to your step.They are made with a black walnut base and calfskin leather.These were made to look like the traditional shoes worn by Irish river dancers.
