Summary: In 1876, the battle of Little Bighorn occured when Lt. Colonel George Armstrong spotted some warriors, about fifteen miles away from Rosebud River, he decided to act on impulse and attack without any knowledge of the strength of his opponents. The other forces were very strong and caused Custer to split up his regiments and send them out to different areas to fight. Sadly, in the end the forces that fought with him died in the battle. Only a few escaped from the Native Americans clutches.
