When I Am Fifty Years Old When I am fifty years old, I hope to be retired and settling down with my family. I consider retiring as an option since there are many careers I’d like to try. Even though fifty years old is a young age to retire at its something I would like to do. The reason I would like to give it a try at this age is so I could travel around the world. Traveling around the world is something many retired people do. It gives them a chance to see every section or part of the world. When people get to talking about how they traveled the world it gets me thinking of how one day I hope to do the same thing. Even if I don’t get the chance of traveling it’s still something I dream about.
My Favorite Book There are many books I could choose from that could be my favorite, but if I had to pick it would be the Twilight series. The Twilight series is my favorite because all the books involve fantasy, adventure, romance, and a little bit of comedy. The first book, Twilight, mainly talks about a girl from Arizona who moves to Washington and soon meets a vampire named Edward. He soon leads Bella into dramatic experiences that may or may not risk her life. Each book, starting with Twilight, leads toward more adventure and many fictional characters along the way. Some characters involve werewolves and also other vampires that may be mischievous in many ways. All of the facts about the Twilight series that I have been talking about are the reasons why I admire the series so much. This book, along with others, is the reason why I love to read and write.
Lesson Learned The one experience that has taught me the most about life was…. When my grandpa manuel died. It was June 10, 2001. It all began when we found out he had cancer. When we found out my family and I were shocked. We were wondering why a man so healthy could get cancer so quickly. Your probably wondering why this experience taught me a lesson about life. Well, that’s the main lesson it taught me about life and how you should live it when you have the chance. As soon as a few months went by my grandpa started to become weaker and weaker. And then before you knew it he was gone. Even though he was only 69 when he passed away he still got an important thing out of life, his family. If he was still alive he would say the same thing himself.
