With that said, should we, as citizens be afraid of the digital divide? YES, I think we should! Certain groups of people, such as the Native Americans, who live on certain reservations are sometimes lucky if they get the opportunity to own a cellphone.
Another big problem that the digital divide creates for Native Americans is their little access to the Internet and its great knowledge. A lot of the Native Americans who are living on reservations tend to know very little about the world outside of that reservation. But, if they were to find a way to bridge the digital divide and own things such as a cellphone, , or a computer, / , maybe they would be able to actually learn something about the world that lies just outside thier reservation's front door. These are just some of the resons I think that we should all be concerned and should all try and do something about the Digital Divide.
