PLAGIARISM
Plagiarism: is the act of taking or stealing another person's idea as your own and not giving credit to where credit is do.

Plagiarizing is not accepted at all in the United States.
Paraphrasing does NOT mean changing a word or two in someone else's sentence, changing the sentence structure while maintaining the original words, or changing a few words to synonyms. this is from www.unc.edu
