Barrack Obama
Barack Obama was born August 4, 1961. He graduated from Columbia and Harvard Law. After college he became a civil rights lawyer in Chicago. In 1996 Obama was elected to the state senate of Illinois . In 2004 he was elected to the United States Senate. Obama won the 2008 presidential campaign as a democrat and is now the 44th President of America.

Chief Diplomat has been and still is the most important role of the president. If certain presidents had failed being a strong diplomat then the America we know today would not be the same. A prime example of the importance of diplomacy in the past would be the Louisiana purchase. Without setting connections with France, Thomas Jefferson may not have so easily acquired the Louisiana Territory.

Being a strong Chief Diplomat also helped the U.S avoid many conflicts such as the possible war that could have erupted over the Oregon boundary dispute. More importantly this role is relevant to modern issues. Obama needs to be a strong chief diplomat if he wants to solve the ills brought on by sectarian violence in the middle east and possible emerging nuclear powers.
