*The world is her stage but no ones watching* She paints her face with outrageous make up Vibrant red, pink, and purple shades her eyes Dark thick mascara threatens to blind her sight As she steps onto the stage, into the bright spotlight. She plays her part, and plays it well If she really isn't this girl, the audience can't tell She doesn't have to be herself, the people like her better She can stop her tears now, she can pull this together. She doesn't have to worry what they think, this isn't her She's playing someone else, which she does often anyway That's how she's so good, she has lots of time to rehearse To some it's a way of life, to her it's just a curse. A curse to always want to be someone better than herself Someone with less scars, more happy, a better self image But that someone that she plays, becomes a part of her She forgets what she's like, herself becomes a blur. She steps onto that stage, for the one millionth time She has her make up on, trying not to cry This time she's not performing, there is no crowd to stare She realizes this isn't the stage, no one notices her elsewhere..
Be who you want to be..... Say what you want to say.... Dress the way you want to dress... Forget about the rest...... It's your life..... You have the right....

so true... just an idea though this is really good maybe a black and white pic of a girl crying would make it more effective but still FANTASTIC work 5 stars
