Scientists explored earth surface and examined many of its layers to establish a complete picture of its geologic history; they also examine the sedimentary that is how the earth was dated.
How earth was made: Solar system was swirling mas of gas and dust. Over time the material was pulled together and formed the sun. Remaining the gas , dust and debris circled the sun then the gravity pulled in more debris and this was contently done from teh earth.
Mass number is the total of number of protons and neutrons
Radioactive Dating
Radioactive decaying
Radiometric dating is: Atomic number of an element, the number of protons in a nucleus. All atoms of element have same atomic number. Isotopes are atoms of the same element that differ in the number of neutrons.. Most elements have several isotopes.
Radioactive Isotopes Radioactive decay rate of decay of radioactive isotopes. Occurs naturally in all matter. Commonly used in radiometeric dating procedure
Radioactive decay is the isotope that has unstable nuclei . It has to release particles or radiant energy or both until nuclei release
