NIGERIA HUMAN RIGHTS VIOLATIONS
The police force in Nigeria has been held responsible included violence, discrimination, and female genital cutting,child abuse, child labor and prostitution, and human trafficking.
The State Department says Nigeria's human right has not seen any significant improvement ever since this all began.
According to the State Department are killings by security forces use of lethal and excessive force by security forces, vigilante killings, impunity for abuses by security forces, torture, rape, and other cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment of prisoners, detainees, and criminal suspects.
They also have been accused of domestic violence, discrimination against women, child sexual exploitation, societal violence, ethnic, regional, and religious discrimination; trafficking in persons for the purpose of prostitution and forced labor.
