TRIVIA about the film
Gummie bears can be viewed throughout the film as many props. Two large gummie bears in Hedwig's trailer, gummie nailpolish, and there's gummie jello being served by Hansel's mom when Luther is over for dinner to name a few. The Wicked Little Town scene with Korean Sergeant's wives was filmed in a Doughnut Shop. Hansel's sex change operation was done by a foot doctor. No wonder we have Hedwig to tell us stories. When Hedwig hits the meatpacking district you see another tranny hooker across the alley. This hooker credited as Renatta Options is actually Mike Potter. Tommy Gnosis' singing voice is Stephen Trask, not Michael Pitt.
