Alcohol with teens has become a very serious topic that is well known among teachers, parents, students, and law enforcement. Statistics have drastically risen since the 1990’s. Maybe it’s because more and more people are becoming aware of how underage kids can get supplies of alcohol. However, it’s become a serious problem. Kids die everyday from situations having to do with alcohol, and they’re not over twenty one. One reason that’s been looked at is maybe it’s the fact or adrenalin that they’re not allowed to do what they’re doing, maybe they just want to feel drunk, or cool. Maybe we’ll never know why kids do it, but one of our main priorities should be to stop it before it gets too bad.
It may seem shocking, but many parents end up buying drink for their kids and their friends. This happens mostly on graduation nights, but that doesn't make it rite.
Just because you drink, doesn't make you cool..
Support your local law enforcement and don't drink if you're underaged.
