Segregation
I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of there skin but by the content of their chararter.
On December 1, 1995 in Alabama a seamtress refused to give up her seat to a white passanger. this brave womens name was Rosa Parks. She was aarested and fined for violtibng a city ordiance but her act began a movement that ended legal segregation. in America. She died in on 2005 at the age of 95.
Why Segregation? Segregation mainly started in the 1940's prior to the civil war,. i believe that the reason we had segregation is beacuse cacsion people thought they were different from african americans and that they had more, they thought they were more powerful beacuse of the skin color. We still have segregation today but in different countries.. Back then blacks were lower class, they had to go to lowr class movies theaters, lower class restaurants even.. Martin

Underground Railrode As most of us know the underground railrode was not actually a railrode it was secert routes for slaves to escape to the free states so they could be free.

On December 31st 1865 slavery ended, thanks to the wonderful leaders changing the southern society. Of course it dint just one day end some how. It was made a law, passing throught the house of represenitves and so on.
