Main character: Darren Shan. Darren Shan is a very brave boy. He sacrificed his self for his friend and turned into the vampire’s assistant, but he is the one to be very hesitant, puts other people before his self. Darren is one that earns respect very easily. But one thing I like most of him he will die saving someone else’s life.
Plot: in the 5th book Darren had to go though trails that would decide if he would stay or be sentenced to the trails of death. But at the end of the book he ran and know one heard from him for a couple of months. But when he herd what the future prince had planned a war between the vampianeze and vampires, also had vampianeze booked in the vampire’s mountain. So now he has to earn back his respects by letting them now. But how? Will he make it or not?
Theme: the theme to the vampire prince is trust and respect why I say that is Darren had to go though a lot to show and get respect from the vampire princes. Darren also had to gain the respect and trust from the pack of wolves. But at the end fighting for respect, does he do it?

SETTING: THE SETTING INTHIS BOOK IS THE VAMPIRE MOUTAIN AND THE WOODS.DARREN RUNS FROM THE TRAILS HE HAS TO GO THREW AND FOR A YEAR HE LIVES WITH WOLFS IN THE WOODS.nOW HE HAS TO COME BACK WHEN HE OVER HEARS THE FUTURE PRINCE SAY HE PLANNED A WAR. bUT WILL IT WORK OUT? o WILL IT SEND HIM TO THE TRAILS OF DEATH?
Main character: Mr. Crepsly. Rather him saving someone and dieing for him like Darren he is the complete opposite. He would let them die rather him save them. On top of that he would have people slave for him. Mr. Crepsly has been with Darren for more than five years. Darren was Mr.Crepsly second assistant. But instead of Darren slaving for Mr.Crepsly he becomes a higher power. What is it, can you guess?
Connection: my connection to this book is the movie Twilight. Why I say that is BECAUSE the bloody details and the vampires. Mr. crepsly - Edward, there top of the group. Darren - Jasper, there newer to the group. Sam Grest - Bella, defenseless.
