THE BLACK CAT AND OTHER STORIES
The Black Cat has 4 different stories, that they are: The Black Cat, The Oval Portrait, Berenice, and The Masque of the Red Death, each with its theme, with its goal, with your own reason and even with their own "atmosphere" that holds the reader much. In this book we realized that each of the 4 stories brings something that we pay close attention to the realities of the purest since this book contains a story in each lesson, one mission, one goal, to show the reader through simple tales terror, values that in some way through dark now around us. You must be wondering where this all is well "behind the story" that is in its very essence and soul, who reads a book with the eyes and mindfulness can only understand things that we would see much later.
THE OVAL PORTRAIT A knight arrived injured in horse and his servant to a castle which seemed abandoned recently. A decorated, but spoiled. On the walls of the room in which the rider had been, were hung several modern paintings, but happy. Architecture bizarre paintings became necessary. Knight felt great interest. Knight ordered his servant to close the massive shutters of the room because it was dark, to light the burners of a tall candelabrum which was the head of the bed and ran to wide the fringed curtains of black velvet which enveloped the bed . The rider has asked all this because if they fell asleep, to contemplate the pictures and read a diary that he found on the pillow. This journal described and criticized the tables. He read for many hours daily and covered the tables as the hours passed. He changed the candlestick position, revealing a corner of the room which had not seen. And so did you see a picture of a couple turning adult. This young woman had a husband who spent her entire life painting it. And at the end of the work, she was dead!
