Lonely Girl
Her hand drops From her cracked reflection As her knuckles spilled with red In a trance Gazing at her broken face What does my reflection show? A face that hides the pain A face that I don't even know Because I’m the one to blame A girl disguised with a concrete smile Who cries herself to sleep A name without a face, a blank expression Wounds more than skin deep Tears run secretly from evil eyes Yes I’m the one with something to hide This is my pain Where I am at Spiralling into a black hole No turning back Deep down I knew in this torturous world The only one who loved me was this lonely girl But now even she has given up on me So what have I to lose? See this reflection carries a burden Suppressed by childish fears This mask hides a face that time cannot erase There is a presence that still lingers here My heart like snow Falling from heights of happiness Trying to bleed like she bled I’m losing my sanity as it eats me away Suffocating in what was said. It’s my fault that the only one I ever loved Is dead.
