I can feel the eyes on me. I can hear the whispers. I can taste the longing to ask. I can smell the worry. But i can not see. I lost my sight when i was 12. Docters wanted to test a new surgery that would make people see in the dark. I volunteered willingly. Now i can not see. The first days were the hardest. Bumping into things i couldn't see. People didn't know what to say. People didn't know what to do Because i could not see. I am 14 years old know. I memirise everything i touch I have all my old friends So i never bump into anything I am the same as anyone else I can hear better than a bat I am not different I am a A+ student Because i can not see Could you tell i couldn't see People can't really tell i'm blind Two years ago i lost my sight I hide it very well Screwed up beyond repiar Unless they look in my eyes God knows how much i miss it That are now a glassy blue But i have learned to cope Because i can't see Though i wish i could see
