Portfolio Entry Cover Sheet Date: Due Date 21 February 2010 Title of selection: Portfolio Entry #2, Activity 3.10 Learning target(s) this selection addresses (STARS by all that apply): 1.Clear and appropriate users and uses 2.Clear and appropriate learning targets ** 3.Assessment design: Choosing the best assessment method, writing questions, sampling, and avoiding sources of bias 4.Sound communication about assessment ** 5.Student involvement in assessment What this selection illustrates about my learning/why I chose this selection: The reason that I chose this activity was twofold. Firstly, most of the chapter's activities revolve around choosing statements from a local curriculum, which I do not currently possess (the alternative being a document that guides my teaching, and I am not a teacher yet). Secondly, I thought that this activity would be useful, seeing as it challenges me to clearly outline what is required out of students to be successful in learning a certain objective.
