Rules for success in this classroom: 1. Upon entering, student is responsible for seeing if there's a warm-up and for starting to work on it immediately. 2. Student is expected to bring all required materials to class every day (notebook and pen/paper unless otherwise notified) . 3. If student has question or input, student must raise hand and wait to be called upon. 4. Bathroom/water breaks are to be taken before or after instruction only. 5. Students are to turn in all assignments by the deadline given unless otherwise instructed.
Welcome to Miss White's Classroom
Why these rules? *I want to get class started on time; any teacher knows time is precious and limited! *Rules 3 & 4 are to minimize disruptions. *Raising hands will allow for quieter students to be heard and given a chance. *Deadline rules are in place so I can grade and return their assignments in a timely manner. *If students are prepared (have materials), class can begin and run more smoothly.
