Tears roll off her cheeks As raindrops trail down her window Her room is where she hides now Where she prays she wasn’t so weak Too many times she’s been this way Shattered, cold, and alone His harsh words still echo cold Memories of when he walked away She’s broken now and giving up Never finding what she seeks She only knows one way to end the pain To prove she’s had enough As she feels her sorrows start to drain Her memories start to fade And wash away Like tears in an ocean By the time her family comes to her aid There’s nothing they could do Couldn’t save her from herself Besides, who would want to save an emo girl Her sanity was frayed.
