Lesson Highlight: Scavenger Hunt
Mr. Kuhl and Mr. Dunn brought their freshman World Civ. classes into the library this month to introduce them to the different ways the library can be used for research and research writing. The students competed in a scavenger hunt to hone their search skills, find books, use databases, and cite resources. What a great way to lay a foundation for researching that will not only help the students in their classes but in others as well!
Remember that the library would be thrilled to present booktalks to your classes. You can check out the booktalks we’ve already done on the Class Links – English page of our web site.
