Dear Journal, I have been living in the wild for a while now and im started to really get used to the enviornment. At first it was hard for me to catch game, but now I am getting really good at it. I am starting to get tiered of it and i think it is about time for me to head home. However when i left I saw the raging river of Teklanika and i could not pass. I am forced to go back and live in the bus longer. I am starting to become very content with ere i am and i think what i came here for is finally reached me. All is good.
''New Soul''- Yael Naim
This section is about the time period between in wich Chris left from Carthage, South Dakota to the time in which he was forced to turn back from the Taklanika river. IT tells of how he prepared for his journey and what he learns about the land. He doesnt bring much with him at all and really isn't well prepared for what lays ahead of him. He starts out bad at hunting but then get gradually better and happier with what he is doing. HOwever when he finally decides to go back to civilization and is sluck for the Taklanika river is really big and he can't go across.
