Everyone here always smiles. i geuss, in a sense, they have more than we ever will, because they're happy with what they have. it's amazing.
Here in Canada, we hope we get that thing we want, or our favorite food. Here, the kids hope they can eat tomorrow. They hope they can play sports well, because it's the only way out. We've seen so many kids here, from a 15-pound 3-year-old with no hope of getting out of the batey she lives in, to young children in the poorest neighbourhood in the country who now have a school for the first time, to orphans who are being given the education they need to do something with they're lives. Who are being given a chance. And it's so unfair to see that only a very, very small percent of the kids here will have any of the opportunities we take for granted.
There are 3 different social classes here: -Very Rich -Rich -Poor -Very Poor
