QUEBEC!
Les Laurentides *It has a total land area of 20,744.29 km(squared). *The area was first inhabited by the Montagnais First Nations Tribe. *It is a popular tourist destination; lake in the summer, skiing in winter.
LES INUITS *They are people that come from native Arctic regions. *The Inuit language is associated with Eskimo language. *The Inuits are descendants of the Thule culture. *They are traditionally hunters and fishers.
MONTREAL *It was originally called ''City of Mary'' *It is Canada's 2nd biggest city with a population of 1,906,811 people. *It's official language is French. *It is rated as one of the world's most livable cities.
VIEUX-QUEBEC *This city has many old structures. *It is referred to as the city within walls. *Narrow streets are lined up with shops & cafes & is a good place to hang out. *The streets are so narrow people can walk rather than use cars.
LA RIVIERE SAGUENAY *The valley forms the Fjord Saguenay. *The fjord is protected by 2 parks: Parc national du Saguenay & Saguenay Saint-Laurent.. *The steep terrain is not suited for agriculture.
LA PENINSULE DE GASPE *It constitutes part of the south shore of the Lawrence River. *Its interior is rugged and extends to the Appalachian Mts. *Route 132 circles the peninsula. *St. Lawrence River is also called Cap Gaspe.
LE PARC DE LA JACQUES-CARTIER *It is a large mountainous plateau. *It is home to some of Quebec's loveliest glacial valleys. *There is a dense forest in this park. *The park's mission is to protect it since it is well known for its beautiful landscape.
