It is located in Tanzania. This mountain is the largest mountain in Africa. It is 19,340 feet high. Kilimanjaro contains three volcanic peaks. Two of them are extinct but Kibo is not. It formed a long time ago when lava poured out from the Rift Valley. This moutain has a cool climate along with its high altitude.

It is located in south-eastern Africa. It is deep in the ground which allows water to settle there. The valley has wall-like cliffs. It was creatd when forces tore apart the earth's crust. This causes crust to go into the ground and force up molten rock. The valley is very huge and goes on for quite a while in distance.
