Some say the world will end in fire, some say in ice. From what I've tasted of desire I hold with those who favour fire. But if it had to perish twice, I think I know enough of hate to say that for destruction ice is also great and would suffice.
fire & ice
In 1912 when frost left teaching at new hamshire state school in plymouth to take his family to england in search of seclusionn and more time to write, he was thirtyeight yeras old and all but convinced that as a poet he would never be a success. Frost likes to play with words as a retriever plays with a ball, used hyperbole almost as often as metaphor, and could give his lyric dramatic imagination with brilliant affect. He knew very well that petty resentments influences him.

This poem to me only has one meaning. The poem fire and ice is about two very opisite subjects. The first thing that comes to my mind when i read this poem is the end of the world, good and evil. More like the world could end in two diffrent ways in a good way or bad way that is y the first thing that poped in my head was the movie 2012 beacuse it also had to do with the end of the world just like this poem does or atleast thats my prospective of it.
