Nawal El Sadaawi was a rebel because no matter what people said to her she still stood up for what she believed in which was she was highly against female genital mutation and spoke out about it.She spoke out so much about this because as a teen she underwent this procedure.She has also written many books speaking out about this problem as well as written books.
Im taking so much away from this project.A few things im taking away are that no matter who you are what you have grown up to be you can speak out against something you know is not right.I also learned that in other countries they are still doing this to young women.I would like to maybe speak out about this issue to its something that is very important and nawal sadaawi was very brave in taking up the challenge to try to stop this.
From 1988 to 1993 her name figured on death lists issued by some fanatical terrorist organisations.
