The VIR-ED project is a research project looking at how we can adopt 2.0 thinking to creatively and socially engage people in higher education. IT IS ABOUT EXPLORING THE VARIOUS WAYS THAT HIGHER EDUCATION IN THE UK CAN UNLOCK THE CREATIVE PHILOSOPHY OF WEB 2.0 FOR INFECTING THE NETWORK WITH FREE, USER MANAGED, AND MASS CREATED COLLABORATIVE EDUCATION.
