A few Norse gods/goddesses
Loki
I rarely did what I thought was right. I always just followed, then rebelled. It's always been that pattern, and I'm not going to change it anytime soon. Maybe that's why I got chained under a snake.
Hi. I'm Loki. I'm the god of mischief/fire, whatever. Odin brought me to Asgard by making me his blood brother, but probably ended up regretting that decision. I was sort of a sidekick to Thor, and hurt the Aesir more than helped them. I kidnapped Idun, stole the necklace of brisingr, cut off all of Sif's hair, and more stuff like that. When I killed Balder, though, I ended up chained under a snake until Ragnarok, where I fought against the Aesir, and killed Heimdall. However, he killed me, too.
Thor
I'll destroy all evil. Anybody who could harm us, my hammer will kill them. I like to fight anybody evil, annoying, or creepy (Loki fits in all three categories).
Hello. I'm Thor, god of thunder. I was one of the biggest fighters for the Aesir, but, I still can't believe this, wouldn't have gotten very far without Loki. I was the child of Odin and Jord, and am famous for my hammer, Mjollnir. I also have an iron glove and belt, which enhances my already amazing strength. I've destroyed many jotuns. I was even crucial in capturing Loki!
Please stay, I do not enjoy solitude. The necklace upon my throat is my only memory of my husband after he disappeared. Everybody thinks I am always happy and content. If only they could see the real me.
Hello, I am Freyja. I am the goddess of fertility, love, beauty, desire, etc. I am the daughter of Njord and Skadi. My brother, Frejr, is one of my closest friends. I got my necklace when I saw it with three dwarves. I wanted it, but the only way to get it was to sleep with them for one night. I did, but my husband disappeared when I got back.
Idun
Would you like some apple, my friend? These apples are what keep the Aesir young, you would be happy if you ate one. Even just a bite can do wonders...
Hi, I'm Idun, goddess of youth. My apples give the Aesir long lives, so they can survive until Ragnarok. The apples are wanted by everyone, Loki once kidnapped me and brought me to a jotun who wanted the apples. Luckily, Loki had to bring me back. I am the wife of Bragi.
