Finally the day i had been looking forward to for months was here, the night i see angels and airwaves. The whole day i was just waiting to leave already, unfortunately we couldn't leave until around 5 because my mum and auntie didn't finish work until then, It didn't really matter in all honesty because we were meeting Dylan who had been queing a while. I don't think it kicked in that i was going to see the person who i had worshiped for most of my life until i was actualy at the guildhall. Once we arrived there was a suprisingly low number of people, it wasn't until about 6.45 until people started to arive. We were pretty much at the front of the que, and all bored of waiting. Finally the doors opened, when we got to the door the men took our drinks off us, what's the point when they're giving out free drinks anyway. We went straight to the merch stall and i got a tee-shirt, and dylan baught about 10. hahaa. We went in to the hall with smurfie and dylan even though they both had seating tickets =) We got right to the front which was amazing, waiting for an hour for anything to happen wasn't so amazing but it was all worth it in the long run. YouMeAtSix finaly came on and half the croud wern't that fussed..nor was i in all honesty seeing as i only know one song, which is the song most people know them for "save it for the bedroom" I found that a lot of their stuff sounded the same, but i kinda liked it. But not enough to go out and buy their album or anything, might download it eventualy..if i can be bothered haa. There was another fat interval before angels and airwaves came on, but like i said it was well worth it in the long run. When they came on stage everyone pushed forward. Most people were their just for Tom, seeing as the whole show people were shouting his name...rather than the bands..and in all honesty i doubt i would of ever listened to them if Tom Delonge wasn't in the band. Until last night i was all Bring back blink, but after Tom gave a fat speach about angels and airwaves i think i finally put blink behind me, the way i put it is as f someone died, aha, that's how lame i am, i lvoed blink 182 that much, but still just some of the things he says just make sence..? I dont know..haa. I think seeing someone like Tom Delonge, when you've idolised and worshiped them since you can remember is one of the most amazing experiences of a life time, just being a barrier away..you just get the most amazing feeling, even if you're jammed next to some sweaty weird man. It wouldn't be a proper gig if you wern't stood next to some strange sweaty guy, i swear that always happens..haahaa. Unfortunately didn't manage to get any decent pictures, not that it matters too much, cause you know, memories...=
