Poem, picture, and edit (c) LovelyViolence
Why do you always push aside The words you know are locked inside? "I love you and I know you care." So easily replaced with "You're never there."
You push everyone else away, Although to us it's plain as day- A family and some true, good friends Are what you seem to lack in the end.
A silent warning you'll never hear, Quiet whispers in your ear. Teaching lessons learned with pain Too bad the effort's all in vain.
But they are still there awaiting your call, Hoping to help you through it all. So just let them help you while they're still around Or one day you'll find your life has unwound.
Written for someone who will never know it was ever written. I agree with all of them. He's no good for you.
