The Origins of Halloween
Halloween was ''created'' by a group of people called the Celts. they lived in Europe over 2,000 years ago.
November 1st was cconsidered the end of the summer and the beginning of the dark, cold winter.
It was believed that on the night before the new year, the boundary between the world of the living ad the world of the dead became blurred.
The Druids would create huge bonfires and then burn crops and animals.

Because of Roman takeover, by 1000 AD, November 1st was All Saints Day, November 2nd was All Soul's Day, and October 31st was All Hallows Eve, or Halloween
