Solution: A homogeneous mixture composed of two or more mixtures.
Mixture: two or more different substances are mixed together.
Unsaturated: a solution of a substance can dissolve no more of that substance and additional amounts of it will appear as a precipitate.
supersaturation refers to a solution that contains more of the dissolved material than could be dissolved by the solvent under normal circumstances.
saturated: solution e maximum amount of solute capable of being dissolved under given conditions.
Homogeneous: same amount of material is suspended in the substance
heterogenous: of a mixture composed of different substances or the same substance in different phases, as solid ice and liquid water.
Solute: a component of a solution
Solvent: liquid, solid, or gas that dissolves another solid, liquid, or gaseous solute
