The small town library cat who survived the freezing drop box and warmed the world's hearts.
Dewey loved the library and it's people. He did anything he could to help people going through hard times and knew exactly how to cheer them up. He faced many conflicts: the freezing library drop box, the bat, and in the end, he faced off with himself in a battle against megacolon and cancer.
Dewey lived in the Spencer public library in Spencer Iowa. He was found in the frosty winter, and he quickly spread throughout the town.

This book is amazing. It's touching, funny, and can relate to so many people in so many ways. Not only is it about Dewey, but also about the people he interacts with and changes. This book is truly a favorite and I hope everyone else can enjoy it too.
