We all love to read, but don't forget to pay attention to the meaning and messages written within the lines. That big message is called the theme- the big issues your book deals with. Use a text box to define and explain at least 1 major theme from your novel. Then, below it or somewhere linked to your explanation of theme, include a video from school tube that relates to your them. Check out my reading video here!
When you think about the parts ofyour novel, you think about the characters in the book and the setting, or where and when the story takes place. These are some of the first impressions you will get of your book. Then,the problems or conflicts, that create the rising action and suspence of the novel will become apparent. You think about how the characters interact with the world around them and how they change as a result of those interactions. The climax of the novel is another important story element to consider. What is the major point of action? What is the major turning point that decides how that conflict with be resolved? Finally, think about the resolution of your novel. Did it end like you'd hoped or predicted? Did the ending satisfy you or leave you wanting more... maybe in another book, a sequel or something along those lines. Use your glog space to explore at least 3 of these major concepts.
