Nature's first green is gold, Her hardest hue to hold. Her early leaf's a flower; But only so an hour. Then leaf subsides to leaf. So Eden sank to grief, So dawn goes down to day. Nothing gold can stay.
Nothing Gold Can Stay
Alliteration; ''Hardest hue to hold.'' ''..Green is gold'' ''Dawn goes down'' Rhyme Scheme; Gold and hold. Flower and hour. Leaf and grief. Day and stay.
I chose “Nothing Gold Can Stay” by Robert Frost. The reason I chose this poem was because I really liked how every line rhymed, I thought that was really neat. I think this poem has a really productive message. In all, I like this poem because it rhymed, it had a smooth rhyme that I liked, and because I liked the message.
