John McCain : Disagrees against abortion. He does not support the Supreme court ruling of Roe vs Wade. McCain said,'' I will be a pro-life president, and this presidency will have pro-life policies'' Also, McCains runningmate Palin has a DS baby, and did not abort.
Barack Obama: Agrees with abortion. He believes it is the women's rights, He states,''The first thing I'd do as president is sign the Freedom of Choice Act,'' This act will eliminate all state legislation limiting or regulating abortion.
John McCain: Disagrees with Universal Healthcare, but he has some good ideas to help families manage health care. One of these is to change the federal the tax code and to allow more people to get tax credit for their health care.
Barack Obama: Agrees with Universal Healthcare, he says,''The time has come for universal health care in America.'' Obama says that within the next six years everyone in America will have Universal Healthcare.
Barack Obama: He says that personally he believes that marraige is between a man and a women, but also beleives that ''Equality is immoral'' Obama states, ''I don't think that homosexuals are immoral any more than I think heterosexuals are immoral.''
John McCain: Disagrees with same-sex marriage. He believes that marriage is between and man and a women. He also voted for the Defense of Marriage Act saying it should be the states decision to choose for or against same sex-marriage.
John McCain: Disagrees with the raising of taxes for people with much larger incomes. He has said in many speeches that there will be no new taxes if he is elected president. John McCain has signed against many reforms and pledges trying to increase taxes.
Barack Obama: He believes in raising taxes. He beleives that the rich are not paying enough for their taxes. He says when more taxes start coming off, that is how we will pay for universal healthcare and other initiatives.
Barack Obama: He some what agrees with the death penalty. He says they death penalty does not do a lot in stopping crime. He does though support the penalty for major crimes broken. He says '' It does little to deter crime.''
John McCain: John McCain is a strong believer in the death penalty. He supports the death penalty for only federal crimes. Although, he does not believe in the death penalty on minors.
John McCain: He beleives that Irag withdrawl would not be a good idea. Although he has said he will be changing the policy for the war drastically, but he will be staying the course of the war. He has also says the pentagon has not been doing its job by recognizing low numbers of troops.
Barack Obama: He slightly agrees with the withdrawl of Iraq troops. He says he will be doing a phased withdrawl by at first taking many troops home. But he will be leaving a small amount of troops over there to seize any effort of Iraq to counter attack in any way.
