Think about it, the faster you go the more time it will take to stop.

Remember, the faster you drive, the harder the impact.

Speeding accounts for 20% of all collisions in BC.

Keep in mind that as speed increases so does the cost of the ticket you might get. Also, speeding in a school, playground or construction zone is more.

Not only is speeding dangerous it's also very unfriendly to the environment. Also, diving slower reduces gas mileage so you don't have to fill-up as often and that's money in your pocket. All the accelerating and braking that happens when speeding will mean more trips to get the car repaired as well.

If you double your speed you will hit four times harder upon impact.

At 30 km/h, it takes 18 metres to come to a full stop At 80, it takes 76 metres And at 110, it takes 126 metres
