Flies do NOT come from rotting meat- They go into the jar and lay their eggs in it and when they later hatch it appears they came from the meat. Just one rewuest please keep a lid on your rotting meat...please?

Last, but not least... My science book "Science Explorer From Bacteria to Plants" by Prentice Hall.
Because there was nothing over the jar the flies could smell the rotting meat and lay eggs on it.
In this jar the flies could smell the meat but, because of the netting, they could not get into the jar to lay their eggs.
This jar is sealed of completely which means that the flyies can not smell nor eget into the jar. Which equals? NO FLIES!
