The Roman Report
The Tragedy Of Julius Caesar
Written By: Flavius Interveiw with: Mark Antony The tragedy of the great Caesar's death has been a great shock for all of Rome. I was fortunate enough to be there to hear both Marcus Brutus and Mark Antony speak on his behalf and they were both very moving. I was also able to get a brief interview with Antony after he gave his glorious speech. Q: So Mark Antony, what do you know about the death of Caesar? A: I was not there when he was murdered,Flavius, but I do have a strong feeling that it was Brutus that caused his death. Q: What were you feeling when you initally saw Caesar's lifeless body? A: I was heart broken because I considered him a brother. I was also angered that someone could do such a thing. Q: I have one final question. What was the purpose of getting the crowd so angry? A: My purpose wasn't to anger, but to speak the truth. I wanted them to know how Caesar died, and who killed him. I believe what I said was for the good of the people, and the good of Rome. So as you can see, a battle will soon be underway between those who killed Caesar and those who were his true friends.

Transcripts to Trebonius
Dear DeepThinker, You present a very good argument, and I am most positive that you are not the only one trying to pick a side. In my opinion, I think you should choose with your heart. You should go with the side that represents what you believe in most, and the side that will make you feel welcome. Either way, I think both sides are very strong, and either choice would be a good one. Yours Truely, Trebonius
Dear Trebonius, I am trying to decide what side to take for the battle between Brutus and Antony. I was a strong supporter of Caesar, but when Brutus was speaking I started to think about which side I am really on. I still support Caesar very strongly, but I am also starting to like Brutus' side as well. What should I do? Sincerely Yours, DeepThinker
