1. Do a home energy audit. 2. Keep certains and blinds closed at night. 3. Avoid using space heaters. 4. Don't set the thermostat higher than you actually want it. 5. Vacuum registers and vents regularly
6. If you'll be going on vacation, lower the thermostat to 55 degrees. 7. Have your heating system inspected regularly 8. Never cover attic vents or recessed light fixtures
9. Maintain your central air conditioner 10. Plant a tree.
what conserving energy means to me.. is to save it. make the energy into potential.
