Peregrine Falcon

Also known as the duck hawk, the peregrine falcon is the fastest flying bird, diving at speeds up to 200 m.p.h.
The peregrine is found on every continent excpet for Antartica.
Causes for declining populations includes pesticides used on farms, making the egg shell thin which is prone to breaking more easily.
Another cause is other birds. Great Horned Owls and Golden Eagles will kill young chicks while they are still in the nest.
