The 2010 Pennsylvania Senate Race
Democrat For Senate
Joe Sestak
Pat Toomey
Republican For Senate
I believe in restoring hard work and accountability to Washington and our nations politics. Though a registered Democrat, in my years with the Navy I learned to reject ideology and "just do what it takes to solve the problem". Therefore, my priorities lie in the middle class and economic recovery. I hold firm to standing up to anyone, even my own party, in order to fairly represent Pennsylvania.
I am a registered Republican and leading advocate for limited government. I push for effort regarding tax cuts and reduction of wasteful spending within government. I believe in eliminating tax on capital gains and lowering business taxes to make U.S. companies more competitive.
After growing angry from tax burdens upon Pennsylvanians, Pat Toomey ran for and won a seat representing the 15th Congressional District of Pennsylvania, to change the problem. His motivation on an economic level won him high scores from national fiscal watchdog groups, and led to his presidency of the limited government organization, The Club for Growth.

After serving for 31 years in the Navy and rising to 3-star admiral, Joe Sestak was elected to Congress in 2006. He represented the 7th Congressional District of Pennsylvania. Sestak also worked in President Bill Clinton's Defense Policy, served as Deputy Chief of Naval Operations, and headed the Navy anti-terrorism group 'Deep Blue' following 911.
